Travel is an amazing way to spend quality time together as a family and create lifelong memories. BUT it is also an opportunity for adventure. Why is adventure important?
Adventure is defined as an exciting or unusual experience,
but it can also be a BOLD or RISKY undertaking.
When it comes to our kids, I know we often don’t immediately think of risk as being a good thing, but it is often a crucial part of raising kids who can thrive in our world. See that other word – BOLD? When kids learn to take good risks, by facing something that scares them and conquering that fear, they gain confidence and it empowers them to be more BOLD in their everyday lives.

We are finally taking a big vacation with our kiddos this summer & I am looking forward to it, but also want to make sure I do it the right way. I love the idea of using this to teach them to be “risk takers”…such a great lesson! 🙂

We love to travel, even if it’s a day trip somewhere with the kids. I never thought of travel as taking risks, but glad to know we are setting an good example for our kids. Providing different experiences and ways for kids to learn is so important at any age.

I completely agree with this! Travel is so wonderful, especially for kids. My parents tried to travel with us as much as possible because they they wanted us to learn everything we could and experience different places/cultures. Looks like a great package! I’ll have to check it out.

Love this! Instead of raising children who live in fear of everything, encourage them to challenge their fears and be BOLD. Great insight!
