I love holiday fun, especially when there’s an element of surprise involved and this Halloween Boo Kit is a great way to play a trick, with a treat, to keep the weeks leading up to October 31st exciting!
I’ve never been BOO’d before but when I heard about #BooItForward, I knew I wanted to create a Halloween BOO Kit for some friends. I wanted to share not only some festive treats but an opportunity for a fun family game night!
This Free Halloween Printable- Bingo is a great way to spend a little time together and catch up on each other’s lives. I printed and laminated the playing cards for durability and used the M&M’s® as place markers for even more fun!
To personalize our kit even more, I added some yummy homemade candy bar cookies(recipe below). These cookies are so chewy and soft as well as a fantastic way to add a snack to your game night time. After the cookies were cooled, I packaged them in cute bat themed bags to complement the Trick or Treat bowl that’s the base for our kit.
I added plates, fun reusable spider cups, paper straws, Sunkist® and Canada Dry Ginger Ale in Halloween themed cans, the bags of our candy bar cookies, the laminated bingo cards, a couple packs of glow in the dark bracelets, and some favorite chocolate candies. Oh, and a friendly spider to watch over the treats! To make our kit complete, I added this free printable to let our friends know they’d officially been BOO’d! To keep the fun rolling, print the free BOO kit instructions: Cut out this “We’ve been BOO’d sign. Fold the “You’ve been BOO’d” greeting card (page 2) and tape openings together. Include the card and sign when gifting BOO bundles to your friends!
It was easy and convenient to pick up everything I needed for a Halloween BOO Kit at WalMart! The seasonal themed area is full of fresh ideas and new Fall merchandise so it’s a breeze to pull a kit together quickly, bring everything home, print the BOO’ing instructions, and surprise a friend this October!
These soft, tasty cookies are great for using up some of the candy lurking around the house this month but caution: they’re so yummy, your family will be begging you to make them all year long!
