I have been following Kristin over at “The Imperfect Home” for awhile now, and I LOVE all her great organizing tips and photos. As a busy Mom with two kids and a business, my life is CRAZY! So, I’m always in search of ways to bring a little more calm to my chaos. Today, she’s got a fabulous post that applies to all of you saving superstars, about how to organize your loyalty and rewards cards.
Here’s Kristin’s post – but be sure to check out her website for all her other organizing tips.
It seems like just about every store now offers some sort of loyalty card program and keeping them organized can be a juggling act. Many offer a small tag that will clip on your key ring, but I have never been a fan of that method. I like my key ring to be simple and uncluttered.
For the past couple of years I’ve used KeyRingThing.com and it has been a great solution. The service consolidates up to 6 loyalty cards onto one and can really lighten the load. I recently migrated to CardStar and it is working beautifully. CardStar is a free app that you download to your smartphone. Setting up the app was as simple as taking a photo of the barcode on my loyalty cards (I used my old KeyRingThing card) and I was ready to roll. The cashier scans the barcode from your smartphone and so far it has worked like a charm.
