Valentine’s Day Playdough Cupcakes
I love these little Valentine’s Day Playdough Cupcakes! They’re such a cute idea to give out for class Valentines or to have as a set at home! I was able to pull this little activity together using what I had around the house but if your home doesn’t have all the crafty craziness mine does, a quick trip to the store will fix things.
I have 2 favorite play dough recipes and I used this one, from our friends at The Imagination Tree for this project. I also added glitter, as my last step, because everything should sparkle!
I then gathered some silicone cupcake liners and tons of embellishments! I used, buttons, beads, jewels, cupcake picks, paper straws cut into 3-4 inch pieces, or anything else that looks like fun!
I had two cutie pie bakers to test out the cupcakes and they both gave it their seal of approval……after testing them out for a couple hours!
I packaged a silicone cupcake liner, a ball of play dough, and a tiny container full of embellishments(assorted beads, jewels, buttons) in a plastic bag. Then, I added a ribbon and tag and the cupcakes were ready for giving!
PS: I forgot a photo of the tag but these FREE(!) Cupcake Printable ones from Living Locurto are perfect for these! Simply print, cut & write the child’s name on the back.
